I'm looking for a roll pan for an 03 Edge. I have tried everyone that I can think of except for Grant Kustoms because they seem to be on holidays this week. Who makes one??? If not how much wider does the edge pan need to be compared to the splash bed. As you can tell I'm not very fimilar with the ranger, its for a customer.

Also, what are the 2 tabs for that stick off the back of the box sides (under where the bumper is)? Its been bugging the the badger outta me since I can't see any reason for them.

unless you are on a time limit, i would wait and get a Grant rollpan. they have the best sheetmetal products anywhere. i think that FBI, Sir Michael's, and possibly Mar-K also sell rollpans if you can't wait for a Grant one.

the tabs are there to hold the bed in place. u have to fiberglass behind the bed right there then cut them off and smooth over them.

All of these companies only offer pans for the 03 Splash not the Edge. From what I am told the edge bed is wider than the splash (I can't see Ford making 2 different step side beds, but this is what everyone is telling me). Does anyone know if this is really true?

What is the distance between the 2 bed sides on a splash?,or width of a splash roll pan? If anyone can tell me I can measure the Edge bed tomorrow and check.

Thanks for your help.

beds are the same. if its the mazda bed, a fleet side ranger pan will work as it has the same tailgate as the feetside.

03s had the splash bed. the EDGE has nothing to do w/ the bed other then not having flares and a sticker.

Yup, Im just thinking that could explain why people are telling him it's wider then a splash.

We did some work on my friends Ranger today which is the splash/flareside, so I measured it for you man to help. So measure the distance between your tail lights or tailgate.

Around 46" (between taillights) = Splash/Flareside
Around 54" (between taillights) = Fleetside

Thanks alot man. I'll measure it at work tomorrow and see what the deal is. I did end up talking to Grant Kustoms and they said that they are the same. So we'll see.

Thanks again.
