You definitely want to run a forward facing 4 link. Reverse 4 links transfer energy in the front directions. Check out Gravity-Werx. for some awesome 4 links. I am running one of my truck and it is very nice.

either will work man, but setting up a forward 4 link right is easier then reverse, and you won't have to worry about haters as much

baha that pic is sweet, but ona a ranger u have run the bars the other way on the uppers. put the center of the bars at the front over the drive shaft and the others close to the notch since you cnat weld to the pumpkin.

there is a median of things, too close to the pivot with some soft wanus firestone bags aint gonna work for you, slam's could pull it off though

just put it in the middle of the bar with a 2:1 ratio and you should be good

Yeah you definitely don't want to run the bags too close to the pivot point. I did that the first time me and James setup my 4 link. It got like 15 inches of lift out of a firestone 2600, but it made the suspension really soft. I could lay into the throttle hard it would just plant the wanus end on the ground. It did it even with Slam RS62's in the back. The problem with mounting them on the bar on my truck was that they had to be really far forward to clear the 20's. I am just switching to mounting them behind the axle.

mine are about as close to the pivot point as possible...i'm not a real big fan of it. i get like 25 inches of lift out of my rear and i will never ever for any reason need all of it.

i dont see the need for over 10/12 inches of lift in the rear

there's a point here. the way mine is being set up, I'll end up getting around 30-35 inches, if not more. I had a buddy of mine explain how to get around 60, but nobody needs that flippin' much...I dunno if he was right with what he said or not (I don't really feel like explaining it right now:P) but if he was, that's A LOT of lift

we make a lot of 4 links for the Pebble Pushers (some of you guys on here have probably heard of them) and a lot of other random clubs and individuals and whatnot..they all work basically the same (as far as getting them from different places) so it's really up to you..I mean, after all, it IS your truck :)
