pretty cool looking hot rods shown in this 1950s safety video

that video really made realize that hot rodders are the mini truckers of old for real. i always thought it was just a pretty good comparison but we really inherited their attitude of helping eachother and things of that nature. good find lowtide

Hot Rodders (and not so much STREET 'rodder's) and mini-truckers have a huge amount in common. I'm don't consider myself to be a mini-trucker, but a hot-rodder at heart. While the vehicles may be newer, the tech and tricks to modifying them are all the same. Outside of hot-rodders and mini-truckers, I"m not sure anyone knows what air bags are....
