I have an 88 ranger and am looking for 17's or 18's. What kind
of offset should I be looking for? Wheel width? I don't want to have
to do any modifications to make the wheels tuck after I bag it.
Any help would be great.

The bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5, All rangers, mustangs, and yota trucks have the same pattern. about size wheels the Gen I/II expert will have to help you out there, probably anything between 17x7 or 17x8 would fit, and a large offset for a car, I ordered 5.5 for my wheels and it still wasn't big enough to tuck in the rear so i had to flare my fenders.

5 in offset max on a gen I/II w/ bags and 5.5(maybe) definatly 6 in offset when b/d.

B/D85: do you have to run a spacer on your 18's and what did you have on your truck before your current wheels? do you recommend any cheap stock 17's (that look decent) ? just want some wheels i won't have problems with down the road with clearance.
