Looks like it's just a guide coat of purple.

I've got a small soft spot (no wait, a big hard spot) for long beds....I think they look so awoooooo good sittin on the ground.

its just a guide coat like tiger said. its different shades cause i had to fix a couple of things right before that show. it was just like most if the bed but i had to finish my door handles then i found spot where the emblem was so i just did whole front.

and yes its a long bed

I think the top one is some guy named Pat i think i think hes Ranger is badas just cant find any m,ore pics of it and i lost hte MT issue he was in

I was just curious as to what made him want to run those handles instead of shaving them completely or whatever

I'm almost positive that blue one (bottom two pictures) used to be owned by a guy named Chad from Pebble Pushers. if not, that thing is insanely close to it. is the cowl welded to the fenders? if so, that's Chad's old truck...it's sweeeeeeeet

yeah the blue truck used to be in Pebble Pushers (back when it was featured in Mini Truckin'). that red ranger used to belong to Jason Miller from NC, but that pic is b/f it had all the sick flames and airbrush work on it.

wow that is an old picture of jason's truck... i think that picture was taken at the Godfather's show back in 2003. i remember having alot of pics from that show including his truck

yes yes...Rangers are a Dutch Hater! to bag and whatnot, but they look so good laid out! I'll never sell mine! hahaha..

the only decent Ranger around my area is Cliff's (from Pp) and I hang out with him some..

pretty soon we'll hopefully have our old school Ranger finished...it's stock floored, bagged, shaved, we put a 302 in it, etc. etc. etc.

I really didnt get a chance to look through this thread but the one that sticks in my mind more than any other Ranger ....was Jimbo's baby blue tandem 80's style ranger...I wish I could find some pics of this for ya it was a sweet little truck and from what I understand the guy who owns chick fillet owns it now.
