a GOOD turbo kit (depending on the turbo) could easily go for 5 G's, for that I would expect stainless manifolds (although not equal length, 'tuned' headers), intercooler with piping, BOV, wastegate if needed, and all the piping, plumbing, etc needed....and a flasher to reflash to computer, and maybe a fuel pump w/ injectors if needed.

Maybe make an e-fan and oil cooler additional add ons.

Personally, I wouldn't be insterested. My next car will be turbo'd and I'm not looking to make the Ranger into a hot rod (that's what the hot rod is for, lol), but I know people in general would be, if the price and parts is right.

they're selling a kit (manifold and all that) on ebay for the sohc 4.0L. you have to provide your own m90. rpcaster from rps is making it all. it's $1700.

heres my 2 cents.. if im going to spend money on a turbo.. why wouldnt i put the 2.3 turbo out of the thunderbird in my truck?..with the right stuff you can get 345 hp at the tires.. and you can run higher boost..
