What do you guys think about roll cages in mini trucks? seriously im gay? Cool? I want to put one in my ranger but im not to sure, I also plan to have a built v8 instead of the 4.0L so maybe it will go with the truck after I swap the engine out.

i personally dont like roll cages unless ure doin the offroading or drag racin thing, but if ure goin to do the swap for the v8 and maybe take it to the track now and then, in that case i think its cool

leave roll cages to dedicated drag/trail rigs. They don't belong in a draggin minitruck. They are just too ugly and would detract from an otherwise nice truck. Even with a built V8 you won't need one.

i personally am not a fan, unless your gonna be doing offroading, or some drag strip the badger. but hey its your truck and if you think it will look good then prove us wrong, do it up, airbrush it up.

its could look good if done right but ive only seen one bagged and bd truck that looked with it. even though it was over done a little i still liked it for some reason. it was tailgate mags cover truck for aug. 03. it only had a cage cuz it would hop all four corners like 3 or 4 feet. his shits crazy.

for the most part i'm against them on anything onther than a "racing" car or like an off road vehicle, BUT they can work, like if you were to tie it into the interior and make the interior work with it, it could be fresh. look at josh freedmans toyota the one with the accord headlights and taillight under the paint in the rear. that thing looks killer and it has a roll cage so it all depends on how far your willing to go to make it look good, just my two pennies-alex

I never have been much of a fan of that Toyota. I dunno, some neat ideas and all, but I don't like the way it turned out in the end.

That yota is bad arse I love his tail lights, does anyone know how he did it? I read on another forum a guy posted pics of lights he did similar to his with some sort of lense kit but he never posted pictures of how he did it
