Hey any of you got one of these?......that awoooooo hood prop gets in my way and shesh this looks alot cleaner than that hood prop...

any of those gas shocks would work. grab some off a car that has hatch like a Ford Escort or Acura Integra for example.

early 80's Buick Lesabres had gas struts to hold the hood up....

might look into what a set for the lesabre would cost you....i have a lesabre and the hood is VERY heavy, so if they will support the weight of the buick hood, i have no doubt they could hold a ranger hood

mercury mountaineers have em also...had a set come with my mountaineer hood hinges when doing some repairs but they were seized so i have to get another set at some point

the lesabre struts are $13 a piece from autozone....$26 sounds better than $65+.......to me anyways......

ford explorer/mountainqueer(95-02) hinges will go in once u drille the spot welds out off the ranger ones.
