BODYDROPPED '85 what are you draggin? do you have blocks? or scrap stell welded up and where under the frame are they mounted?

i welded up these brackets that bolted into the bumper brackets holes, and the brakcts held trailer balls, was actually fukin awesome, tell the one just kept bending further and further.

naa dont worry about it. you can find more creative things to drag than bumper. i used to drag 1x2 inch square tubing. on the second ranger i bagged we welded brackets with a piece of angle iron goin all the way across. it was on the back side of the cab right before it raises back up. that Dutch Hater! threw some mad sparks! ill look for some pictures.

I was wondering the same thing about the gas tanks. I'm just a little worried to go down to a 15 gal fuel cell from the stock 19-20.

I got a Bronco II Fuel Tank from the junkyard for $50 with the internal fuel pump. They're 22 gallons and fit right between the frame rails (where the spare tire would normally go). When I get around to installing it, I'll have to do a little sheet metal work over it since it will be slightly raised above the floorboard. They're ugly, but cheap..... Nothing a little cosmetic work won't hide :D
