This is on the lincoln. I can take the doors apart and install the poppers and solonoids and all that. I could even do the sheet metal work if I wanted to but I want it to look perfect. It's not like the ranger when you take the handle off the lincoln you just have a couple holes not the whole recess like the ranger has. And I want it painted, I want a drop it off and pick it up deal. Anyone know a guesstimate of what I could expect to pay ? Thanks fellas

the best way to find out really is to just take it somewhere or go somewhere and ask them yourself..I don't know exactly but I think our shop is usually around 50 bucks a door and we like to install the poppers and everything..I dunno though..I've never gone to other places to see how much they charge so I don't know if that's good or not...

personally, mine were free but ya know... :P

Just talked to someone that has shaved handles on same car as mine, got him on aim too. The door is flush, no indentations, once you pull the handle off, it's a screw hole on one side and a small slot for a rod and screw on the other side, not other indentations. Said it's no harder than shaving a set of badges. And you have two spots to be painted about the size of a dime

Looks like I got lucky, now I need to figure out if I want to install solonoids and poppers into all four doors or just the fronts. I never use the back door, and can reach in and open from inside, but I dont know. Occasionaly with groceries I like to go right ot the bakc door. All 4 doors solonoids and all is 3 times as much money and twice as much work. Think I'll just do the fronts.
