i have a cell and i need to run lines. do i have to run new fuel lines all the way to the motor or can i hook them up at the fuel filter or something

You don't have to, it's easier to run lines from the fuel cell and splice them into your existing fuel lines. Are you running an external pump or keeping your factory one?

i dont know which pump im gunna use which ever one will be easier and not mess with the dash lights

external pumps are the way to go. much easier to install, looks better, and performs better. MSD 2225 from Summit Racing will work fine. Plenty of flow and fairly cheap. Got one on my truck and it works great.
